Hi all,

I just reformatted my pc and lost my MS office 2007 install. I had bought it online so I didn't get a CD. Anyone know any good alternatives that work with Jaws?

Call Microsoft, or contact the place you got your office from. They'll provide a reinstall for you, or should. Nothing cheap comes to mind, but google and see what you come up with.

I heard of open office. Not sure how accessible it is.

Open office is not very accessible on windows.

IBM Symphony - a derivative of Open Office - is supposed to be more usable than Open Office though how much support it has for presentations / spreadsheets and the like I do not know. Seen it a bit and seemed to work in the basic sense at least, but I'm no expert on the matter. But go back to where you got Office to begin with and you should probably be able to download a fresh copy I should think.

OpenOffice also works on the Mac with voice Over extremely well. All but Base which is like MS Access. There's also Apple IWorks 2009 which also works with Voice Over, it is Mac only.
